Postcards of Canillo

The small place of Canillo has a fine 12th century Romanesque church, Sant Joan de Casselles, at an altitude of 1560 mt a.s.l., one nave with wooden ceiling, a peculiar semicircular apse with a Lombard-style bell-tower. The church is almost a symbol of the Principality of Andorra.
